Saturday night, in a room full of hip hop fan's, hip hop artist's, and paper bag's at the Highbury is where I found myself. It's been a while since I have been to a hip hop show in the city, reason being I have been extremely busy(I apologize to you local artists)....But since I'm enjoying spring break in town (bummer) and it's was one of FSL extended family member Dana Coppafeel debut solo album release party, it was a must I had to be in the building.
The reason for not having photo's of the jam packed party....you all know already, just incase you all forgot--My camera was stolen! Yes, I could of snapped a few with my phone, but I didn't. So, the reason I'm not going to speak on the awesome fun, I had experienced is because stories are not that great without imagery. Anyway, you all get to check out the totally cool cd packing/goodie bag's all the guest's received for only $10. Plus an awesome show from the House Of Mutants, and female MC from Chicago...who name I can not recall.
Special Note: The cd packing/goodie bag and it's content's was very simple, but very creative thought provoking marketing that fit perfect with the album title. I do say that's how you give your supporters/customers something extra for their buck and endless support, which I havent seen done in the music industry lately.--Great Job Dana!
If you check out the album special thanks above, you'll see he even mentioned us...Which, I didn't notice till this morning after playing the entire physical cd twice, since last night! If, I may say this CD is a must buy for true you hip hop fans collection...and you can buy the physical copy here.
